Xiaomi mi a1 specifications techno guru news 2016. My A7N8X-E Deluxe MOBO has 2 Ethernet ports - a 10-100, which works perfectly, and a GIGABIT port supported by A Marvell NIC chip which has never been recognized during hardware detection. Asus A7N8X -no ethernet drivers?! I installed the Yukon miniport driver that came with the MOBO and got an OK that the installation was successful – but that had no effect on anything. Can’t connect this guys PC to the internet I am afraid, before anyone asks.
controller shows up in device manager with no drivers. Tried asus drivers,
nvidia mobo drivers (old and new versions of each) Still no ethernet. I
installed an old pci ethernet card and installed drivers, still nothing! It
works fine with mepis linux, so its not a hardware problem. I then installed
on another computer with a MSI K7N2G mobo, ethernet worked fine, had to
manually install creative sound drivers. Its funny that mepis linux is easier
to install than vista! Any ideas on getting ethernet to work on asus mobo?

Also, ping is your friend. Don’t bother with Windows networking and file sharing if you can’t get ping working.
